WHY I LOVE WORKING OUT:
-I can wear bright colors that don’t have to be “in season” at any time of year
-I can people watch secretly
-I drink tons of water without even trying
-I only crave healthy foods after a workout
-Results keep me coming back
-Going heavier keeps me coming back
-When else can I watch FOOD Network without becoming uncontrollably ravenous?
-I get to zone out to my fave music and forget my troubles
-I get supercharged
-I feel fearless

Are you planning to workout tomorrow morning? Me too! But that doesn’t mean it’s easy. :)
Tips for getting it IN, morning style.
- Go to bed EARLIER.
- Lay out your workout clothes TONIGHT.
- Have a ‘no think’ game plan. Are you doing a DVD? A class? A walk? Yoga?
- Are you eating before or after your workout? Having ready to ‘eat’ items that you can grab & go helps to save time. (Not a morning breakfast person? Read some tips here).
My Morning Workout
15 Minute Walk/Jog. The fresh air and easy movement helps me ‘wake’ up. I usually walk for 10 minutes, then do a 5 minute jog home.

I usually prefer working out in the afternoon/evening, but sometimes it’s just not possible. The best time to workout is when it’s most convenient. :)

First ever weight-lifting routine I’ve posted. (Mostly due to not having anyone available to take pics of me in the gym!)
Do all of these moves once before going into rounds 2 and 3. Don’t repeat the same move 3x in a row is what I’m saying. This makes a great Total Body routine for Mondays on the Blogilates 90 Day Challenge. <— (You can view the workout schedule there). Make sure to pick a weight that will make you struggle on the last couple of reps. Struggling, but able to finish.
CARDIO: end with 1 mile on the treadmill.
PS…you’ll be surprised how fast your heart will beat with some of these moves.
